Arges is a photoelectric system designed for precise detection of finish line crossings or checkpoint passages in various sports competitions.
It consists of a transmitter and a reflector operating in the infrared range. When an object crosses the beam, the system instantly registers the interruption and transmits a signal to the timing device.
Arges ensures stable alignment control, supports power supply from internal or external batteries as well as a mains power source. With two output contacts, it allows simultaneous connection to both the primary and backup timing devices. The system is adapted for operation in extreme weather conditions.

Advantages:
  • Complies with WORLD ATHLETICS (formerly IAAF) standards and is used in top-level competitions
  • Operating distance between the transmitter and reflector up to 30 m
  • Two non-polarized output contacts for connection to different systems
  • Automatic beam interruption detection
  • High reliability
  • Simple monitoring and setup system
  • Multiple power supply options: internal batteries, external battery, or mains power
  • Battery level and receiver signal indicators
