Starting gates for velodrome cycling

The starting gates are an automated starting system for velodrome cycling, developed by Swiss Timing in collaboration with the UCI. They ensure reliable holding of the athlete's rear wheel and its automatic release at the start. The system is used in international competitions for Individual and Team Pursuit, 500 m, 1 km, and Team Sprint disciplines. It can operate autonomously or in conjunction with the Tracker for full automation of the starting process.
