The Backstroke Start Device is designed to enhance athletes' starts. It is used in conjunction with the OSB11, OSB14 starting blocks, and the OSB12 platform. The design of the foot support increases the angle between the swimmer’s legs and the water surface during the push-off from the wall, promoting a more powerful start and reducing foot contact with the water during the flight phase. The device features five height adjustment positions via a rotating handle, allowing for optimal foot positioning for each athlete. The non-slip surface ensures reliable grip. Installation is quick and secure, and after the start of the race, the device can be easily removed by the referee.
