The StartTime V start device is used in timing systems for athletics, swimming, speed skating, short track, cross-country skiing, and other sports. Depending on the configuration, the start system includes either a microphone unit or an electronic gun (E-Gun) with a flash and control buttons.
The front panel of the start device features connectors for integration with the timing system, a microphone input for the starter referee, additional flash lamp circuits, speaker connections, and a charging unit.
