Its roots are linked to Omega and Longines, which began timing sporting events in the early 20th century. Today, the company’s equipment is used at the Olympic Games and World Championships across various sports. AVK GmbH exclusively represents Swiss Timing in 16 countries. -
Malmsten (Sweden)The Swedish company Malmsten AB was founded in 1974. Malmsten manufactures and sells a wide range of products for equipping swimming pools for water sports and aquatic leisure. The company’s most famous product is the pool lanes used at the Olympic Games and World Swimming Championships. -

The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship in Ukraine and Poland
We supplied and installed 40,000 spectator seats and track surfacing at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv.
The 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia
We provided comprehensive equipping for several venues of the tournament: the Kazan Aquatics Palace, the Rowing Sports Center on Lake Sredny Kaban, and others. We supplied and installed the Swiss Timing scoring and timing systems, scoreboards and video screens, sports and technological equipment from Malmsten and other companies, equipped locker rooms, and much more.
The 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia
We supplied and installed the Swiss Timing scoring and timing systems for luge, bobsleigh, and skeleton at the Sanki Sliding Center; for cross-country skiing and biathlon at the Laura Cross-Country Ski and Biathlon Complex; and for hockey, figure skating, and short track at the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi.
The 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan
We carried out a comprehensive supply and installation of sports equipment for swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, and water polo as part of the preparation of the venue for the 2015 European Games in Baku.
The 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty, Kazakhstan
We supplied and installed the Swiss Timing scoring and timing systems for hockey, figure skating, and short track at the Ice Palace and Halyk Sports Complex in Almaty.
The 2017 Asian Aquatics Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
We supplied and installed starting blocks, lane ropes, diving boards, Swiss Timing scoring and timing systems for swimming, synchronized swimming, and diving, along with other equipment at the Tashkent Aquatics Palace. AVK GmbH staff participated directly as technical experts in the organization of the 2017 Asian Aquatics Championships.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia
We supplied and installed Sport System sports equipment: football goals, training equipment, seating for substitute players, player exit tunnels, and provided comprehensive outfitting of locker rooms at the stadium in Kazan. We also supplied over 60,000 spectator seats for the stadium in St. Petersburg.
